Using the Wisdom of Nature to help your skin flourish
Balancing Duo

If you struggle with oily, spot - prone and temperamental skin then this is the duo for you.

When our skin is too oily it often comes with enlarged pores and irritating spots and pimples.  The normal reaction is to want to strip that oil away and scrub at those spots.  However this actually only makes things worse as your skin reacts by producing yet more sticky sebum and so the cycle continues.

Not all oils are created equal andI have blended this cleanser and face oil with oils that clarify, balance and thin out that sticky sebum that is causing all your troubles.

More often than not, skin that suffers with clogged pores and blemishes is low in Linoleic acid. the balancing duo offers high potency Linoleic acid as well as multivitamins, antioxidants and specific essential oils that fight bacteria and fungi without stripping the skin's surface.

We need to keep our skin barrier in tact when cleansing and moisturising, not only to protect our skin from harmful environmental factors, but also to keep its micro-biome healthy.  Our skin microbiome is the first line of defence against bacteria.  If we strip it away with harsh antibacterial washes we are actually making the perfect arena fro spots to thrive.

The balancing duo helps to smoothe, treat, calm and nourish spot prone skin.

The Smoothing Rose facial oil has become an essential part of my basic skincare routine - my skin just loves it and feels supple and fresh. Applying it is heavenly as it smells fantastic, like Polly’s managed to bottle the best bits of an English country garden.
